Candidates should have 2 years full-charge (post-assistant) experience in buying for all media. Position requires broad spectrum buying skills as outlined below. Applicants should have a strong grasp of all media fundamentals and methodology. They should have superior verbal, written and computer skills with extensive knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, and media software, preferably SmartPlus. Exhibit a strong attention to detail and have good math skills. Be a team player; represent the Agency in a professional manner while demonstrating a passion for the industry and our clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze media research
Proficiency in estimating, negotiating, buying, implementation and maintenance for assigned markets and clients
Posting performance to achieve established client goals
Evaluate and negotiate sponsorships
Keep current on market and buying trends
Present media buys/plans to clients, when requested
Assist in media training for coordinators and freshmen buyers
